UPDATE: New Schedule for Carl Weber visit to Mississippi---- Tuesday, January 23, 2007

What better way for a new Marketing/Public Relations firm to introduce itself to the state of Mississippi then by hosting one of the most read authors of urban fiction: National Bestselling author Carl Weber (author of Baby's Mama Drama, So You Call Yourself A Man, She Ain't The One and First Lady).

The literary "Prince of Drama" will be in Mississippi for ONE DAY ONLY in January 2007--- and he will be attending events arranged by For The People Productions and Conversations Book Club, in association with Tricom Publicity Inc.

Join us on Tuesday, January 23, 2007 for a series of carefully selected events geared at promoting reading, writing and the love of books.

The first stop of the day will be at 9:00a.m. when Weber will join FTP at Medgar Evers Library (4215 Medgar Evers Blvd) for a 45 minute meet and greet. During this time he will sign all of his books that carried in the library as well as those brought in by his fans.

The excitement continues to build from 11a.m. to 1:00p.m. during a booksigning at Walden's Books inside the Metrocenter Mall. This is a part of the partnership with For The People Productions and the "Read My Lips" literacy project.

WANT MORE? Then visit the Richard Wright Library (515 McDowell Road) in South Jackson with Carl Weber and For The People Productions as they host a special TEEN TIME program to encourage youth and young adults to pursue their goals and dreams beginning at 4p.m.

After the teen session, Richard Wright Library will then host a meet and greet/book discussion beginning at 6p.m. This will allow them to have unprecedented access to the writer--- asking questions and getting his unique perception of the issues teens face and how he addresses them in his work. These events are free and open to the general public.

This is definitely a series of events you don't want to miss!
